Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity is back in Silverburn this Christmas and this year is going to be the best yet! Santa and his elves will return for our Santa Selfie activity along with our pop-up shop (with a variety of gifts & GCHC merchandise), and collecting whilst our fantastic choirs perform. Come join in the fun and get into the festive spirit. We're looking for volunteers to help; - Man our pop-up shop & take payments - Help with 'elfing' duties (give out sweets to those that visit Santa) - Collect donations whilst choirs perform Volunteers will be able to select which of the activities above they would like to do as we know 'Elfing' isn't for everyone! Full training and support will be provided throughout your shift(s). Our Silverburn Christmas activity will run from the 22nd of November all the way through to the 24th of December and we have morning (10am to 1pm), afternoon (1pm to 4pm) & evening (4pm to 7pm) shifts available. We fundraise to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital receives the extra special care they deserve. We raise funds to help those who tirelessly care for and nurture young lives at their most vulnerable; to invest in equipment, research and the continued improvement of facilities and services for children and families in hospital. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys interacting with the public and would like to have a direct impact by helping to raise vital funds that support our young patients, their families and our NHS heroes at the hospital.
