To promote opportunities for all children and young people to talk openly, especially but not exclusively, about their sibling/s with disabilities in confidence through a range of activities and resources. To relieve children and young people of the mental and emotional strain of the extra responsibilities they may feel they have at home by; encouraging positive relationship building, to enable children to create bonds with other children experiencing similar life challenges, participate in fun, age-appropriate activities and to provide a safe and comfortable environment whereby they feel they can talk openly and confidently about all aspects of their lives.
