Responsibilities
• Develop websites to an extremely high standard, with clean code, by way of static HTML sites through to custom themed WordPress websites.
• Personalise templates in WP
• Manage the continued development of our websites across the business, including managing full site redesigns, implementation, deployment & support/maintenance on WordPress.
• Continually perform tests for site optimisation and implement industry best practices as they evolve.
• Create website technical specifications and design briefs of the proposed website build
• Wear multiple hats, working on a variety of web development projects for continued site maintenance and improvements
Candidate must have:

• Positive outlook and can-do attitude seeking solutions rather than stating problems
• Proven WordPress development experience (not just admin) with portfolio to prove it

• Highly motivated — looking for someone who is passionate about good UX, willing to learn quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding & using tracking & analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• Understanding of server requirements and dealing with the hosting providers
• Team player — ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Client facing – ability to meet or communicate via phone with clients
• Good English speaking, reading and writing skills
We’re committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, views and skills, embracing our key values. The more diverse and inclusive we are, the stronger we are as a team. We encourage applications from all candidates with the relevant skills and experience.
