Our old Hall is near its end, with an asbestos (leaking) roof and a subsiding floor. It is more economic to build a new hall that fits the purpose better, is more environmentally friendly and offers the community a safer space for clubs, meetings and get togethers. We hope to maximise the beautiful riverside location by incorporating large windows and outside decks that take in the view, fabulous for events. We hope to get grants to help us and also fundraise as much as we can. We have raised enough money to see us through the expensive planning process and will have some funds left to add to the pot. Please do help the village to make this happen! Any contribution large or small is gratefully received.
