Our Welfare Team look after our response volunteers both during and post operational deployment. In addition, they offer welfare support to members of other services while deployed on operation and to members of the public. At times, a chat and a cuppa are just what is needed, but other times, in the early hours of the morning and in bad weather, a blanket, a rain mac, gloves, first aid, sugar foods and drinks, water etc. are what is required. We require pre-kitted Welfare Grab Bags for our volunteers so that they know that when called upon, they can grab and go.
