The Story
When asked about Qurbani, the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Them) answered, “It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim. For every hair of the Qurbani you receive a reward from Allah.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
This year, do it like Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and fulfill this important Ibadah. This act of faith, first made famous through Prophet Ibrahim (AS), was made part of the blessed practice (Sunnah) of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Them).
Amazingly, not only did the Messenger (Peace Be Upon Them) carry out Qurbani for himself, he also did an additional one for those of his Ummah unable to offer the sacrifice.
