The Story
Students are encouraged to bring a maths themed item of clothing. There will be prizes for the best from P1-3 and 4-7.
Groups will be mixed by year to encourage teamwork and each day they will take part in a different activity as a round robin through the week.
The 5 topic headings are:
Dominoes
Maths Games
Shape Investigations
Measure Challenge
ICT - Coding with micro-bits
The PTA will be providing some small prizes, related to the topics - dominoes, rulers, maths stationary sets and shapes.
Ballyvester PS PTA
For the week of 21 - 25 October Ballyvester Primary School will hold a sponsored maths week - aiming to raise £1000 to pay for the mathletics subscription, that the pupils love using as part of their homework.
