Buzzing back to school

This September, as children go back to school, some in Ghana will be going back to classes with a difference! We are setting up five new Buzz Clubs at schools in Donkorkrom, Afram Plains. Buzz Clubs are school sessions where students learn practical beekeeping skills and the importance of protecting the environment. We are fundraising to: • establish an apiary at each school • train teachers in the Buzz Club curriculum • employ a Buzz Club coordinator to provide ongoing support £25 pays for teaching and learning pack to support the Buzz Clubs including a Teacher's Handbook, picture cards and art materials £50 pays for a set of protective clothing, beekeeping tools and smokers for Buzz Club pupils to borrow and use for their beekeeping £75 pays for fencing and fruit trees in the school apiary £100 pays for materials and training to build bee hives for the school apiary Please donate now to help us get these Buzz Clubs up and running!
