The Story

We're a small team with big ambitions, and 'core costs' donations are incredibly helpful to support our cashflow and help us carry out our charitable aims: to make the science centre organisation and run activities for public benefit. Core costs contribute to things like running costs, (reasonable) staff salaries, costs for running free educational campaigns or events in schools or in public where these are not fully funded elsewhere, and fees for necessary professional services (where we can’t do these activities ourselves). Photo: One of our Founders, Natalie, along with Exeter Science Centre volunteers at our first pop-up exhibition in March 2022, funded by the STFC and supplemented by our core cost funding. Check out the exhibition virtually on our website: exetersciencecentre.org/events/climate-pop-up Thanks so much for your support!
