The Story
In recognition of Simon’s love of rowing, we’re raising funds to buy a boat (an 'Eight') in his name for Marlow Rowing Club. As a schoolboy, he learnt to row at Marlow and went on to become very successful. There will be a boat naming ceremony at which everyone is welcome. Details to come.
Should we raise more than the target of £36,900, any excess will be donated to Marlow Rowing Club's Captain's Fund. This Fund supports those who, due to economic circumstances, are unable to afford the normal payment arrangements for membership.
