The Story
I am lucky enough to participate in this years London marathon.
As soon as I was accepted I knew I wanted to run for Ru, Rupert was born with pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency complex (PDH), a condition that I’d never heard of.
After 6 months of battling this deficiency Rupert sadly passed away.
I have watched my best friend and his wife go through this journey together and they have been so strong, I am so proud of them. Despite my best efforts I have felt somewhat helpless through this whole journey and so the least I can do is run for this charity to raise awareness for others.

a) providing support to the families through funding and advice.
b) supporting research into the cure and management of pdh.
c) raising public awareness of pdh and educating the public about the condition.
