The Story
Each week, our community generously contributes food through our supermarket donation bins, yet the demand far exceeds the supply. To bridge this gap, our project must procure additional food, typically costing between £300 and £450 per week. Your financial contribution directly addresses this urgent need. It's important to note that our charity operates solely through the dedication of volunteers, greatly increasing the impact of your donation.

The multi-award winning Wymondham Community Outreach Project was founded in 2018 as a response to the economic crisis facing vulnerable households on our doorstep.
Those seeking support do not need a voucher to access our services. Nor do we limit the number of visits that a household can make.
We do not issue repacked parcels of food. Those who turn to us select exactly what they collect based on their preferences and level of need.
In addition to tinned and packet food, we also supply frozen and chilled food; fresh fruit and vegetables as well as toiletries, laundry and sanitary products.
For those who are unable to travel to us, we offer a delivery service. We also run the following services:

• PAT tested household appliances
• Saturday cafe
• Advocacy
• Signposting
