EmbraceAbility

Jack Moulson is raising money for EmbraceAbility and Marie Curie Cancer Care by taking a year off the booze. Jack will also be taking part in the Coast and Castle cycle route from Newcastle to Edinburgh to raise money for both charities. How can you get involved? As well as contributing through donations - coffee mornings, cake sales, charity dinners, charity sports events are all in the planning throughout the year which anyone is welcome to get involved with. You may even wish to do a sober stint with Jack. You can stay up to date with events on this page or follow the Facebook page "Dry '18 for Marie Curie Care and EmbraceAbility. By doing this, you will also be informed as to how the money being raised is being put to great use through pictures, videos, blogs and other information. Why a year without booze? Jack was tired of the amount of time I spent/wasted on a weekend; 1) being drunk 2) battling the effects the morning after, so he wanted to use my time in a more productive way. This being said, it will be a huge challenge and will take some serious will and determination but he is hoping to see many benefits - both for the charities and personally. A lot of people do a month or two and raise a lot of money but he wanted to go one step further in order to (hopefully) maximise the support given to these amazing organisations. Thanks for supporting both projects!
