St Mark's School

In these uncertain times, with school budgets being cut we felt the time was right to set up this charity which can apply for grants and funding which are not available to schools directly. This compliments the outstanding efforts of ‘The Friends’ which continues to make a huge difference to St Mark’s. Wings to Fly is a more formal method of raising additional funds and by no means replaces any of the amazing things that ‘The Friends’ achieves. As you will appreciate this is all new at the moment but initially we are looking at fundraising for some exciting things such as: - New equipment (such as books & musical instruments) - Support for clubs - Continuation of Talk-space and implementation of other mental health and wellbeing initiatives - Exchanges with other schools We already have some funding applications in process that we hope will prove successful in achieving some of these aims and we look forward to sharing these with you in due course.
